About

The Indian Students’ Society (ISS) is a renowned student-run organization working for University of Toronto’s Indic population. ISS was founded with the purpose of introducing the UofT community to the nature of the Indian civilization through culture, heritage, food, commerce, art, dance, music and more; initiating and building Indo-Canadian relationships; and involving the University in Indic causes.

Since the University currently houses a multitude of Indo-centric societies that are diverse in thoughts and missions, ISS aims at eliminating any barriers by inviting people from all backgrounds to participate.

At the Indian Students’ Society, we direct much effort toward engaging the sizable Indian and international student population at UofT in socio-cultural activities that reflect the ethos of India.

As per the ageless Indian culture of acceptance, we extend a warm invitation to anyone interested in learning about the ancient civilization that is India.

You do not need to be Indian to join!
